Offers great service and good food. The units are airy, neat. The location is good and beautiful and right by the park for the second day, the restuarant and the sea life.

Everything was perfect, welcoming staff, magnificent views of the park. The suite was cheap and had central heating, pay TV and a study table. The food was freshly made, I loved the full English breakfast. The service was exceptional, including the good onsite restaurant. I had access to easy to access parking, lovely pool.

I felt the hotel itself was wonderful and very 'children' orientated. I loved the fact that the keepers brought in some small animals for the children to stroke and the girls from the park were very friendly and cheerful. The hotel was very clean, the restaurant food was very good and the setting and view over the reserve was beautiful. It was a lovely touch that the hotel residents had access into the reserve after the park closed until dusk.
My initial first impressions were very good until reaching reception! A particular member of staff mumbled, never met eye contact and was generally unhelpful and 'grumpy'. Also the fact that because we booked through an third party company, therefore not obtaining our tickets as a package, upon our arrival (3.30pm) it was not pointed out that to obtain early rider passes we would have to purchase them from the park gates, when we were told this at 8.50am the next morning it was too late as this had to be done during the park opening hours (10am-6pm). The duty Manager did not seem 'bothered' and did not help us in any way to obtain these passes. She said she would phone through to the gates at 9am, however this did not happen and we found ourselves chasing around the hotel looking for staff members from Chessington Park.

Lovely hotel surround by wild life, the hotel looked smelt and felt like africa. It was truely magical
My room was not very clean and the staff on reception were very slow and not very helpful which is a shame because the look and feel of the hotel when you walk takes your breath away

Very helpful and friendly staff, didn't had a fridge in the room to store my baby food but staff helped to keep them in the concierge fridge and delivered bottles as per requested. Comfy, clean and spacious room size and bathroom. Great place for the family to spend the weekend. Would definitely go back again

A Great Family Getaway with Room for Improvement
Our family loved the spacious Safari Double Room with Bunk Beds. The kids enjoyed the fun decor, and the breakfast was a highlight, a great start to our day! Be mindful of snack prices. Bringing your own could save a lot! A lovely stay.

Location right next to Chessington is good
Although we had confirmation from Booked.net, the hotel had no record of our booking and so we did not have the room we reserved. The hotel staff were extremely apologetic but our children were very disappointed. We were unable to secure a restaurant booking before 9.30pm which was far too late for us. We were told the bar did the same food but this was not the case when we went there. Overall, I would say that this hotel is highly overpriced and disorganised. If you want to eat at a reasonable price and much more comfortably, just drive down the road to the Beefeater where you can have dinner, lunch and breakfast at a fraction the cost of this hotel.

The children loved the bunk in the Discovery Family Room. Access to the park via the Azteca Gate. Housekeeping's attention to detail impressed my son, especially when they positioned his teddies. While the atmosphere and decorations were charming, the cashless policy limited payment options, which could be inconvenient for families. Nonetheless, the family-friendly ambiance and helpful staff make it a worthy choice for a fun getaway.

Next to the Theme park/zoo - lots of animal fun for the grandchildren and a real party feel. We had a lovely spacious roon overlooking grazing zebra and ostriches. The bar menu was sensibly priced.
Expensive bufffet breakfast was all that was available - no point if u are not a big eater in the morning - full English is not an option for those watching their saturated fats. Recommend taking a couple of croissants with you and enjoying them with a coffee watching the zebra at play.

Loved location and theme, love what they are trying to achieve with the facilities and style offered, room design for families excellant.
Think just little understaffed at reception,as busy so couldn't answer phone and checking in and out very long winded.Staff were very pleasant and comment critical of management not staff.
